Agritel represents a harmonious fusion of agriculture and architecture, aiming to create a multifaceted destination that enriches tourism, economic growth, food quality and security, community involvement, health, sustainability, and the creation of meaningful spaces.
Agritel aims to provide an innovative architectural design solution by integrating a vertical farm with a mid-rise hotel, embodying the principles of Agritecture—where architecture and agriculture collide. This fusion will foster agricultural urbanization and offer tourist-oriented services, creating a unique environment for both recreation and education.
The project envisions a long-term architectural strategy that adapts the built environment to support the needs of an integrated vertical farm and hotel facilities. This approach will serve as a model for future developments, promoting agricultural awareness and sustainable urban living.
Agritel will introduce visitors and residents to new information, techniques, and technologies related to urban farming. It aims to raise awareness among farmers, helping them grow their businesses through exposure to advanced agricultural practices.
The facility will offer amenities for both local and international travelers, providing an immersive experience where they can learn about agriculture and connect with nature. This will enhance agricultural awareness and promote sustainable tourism.
Agritel is a mixed-use building featuring a commercial area and a mid-rise hotel, integrated with vertical farming. The 11-storey structure will utilize concrete, glass, and wood, blending modern architecture with tropical design aesthetics.
The building will incorporate advanced agricultural technologies, including a simple aquaponic system and soil-based farming for linear planting beds on various floors and the rooftop. Additional features include a fish tank and a rainwater collection system, ensuring sustainable water management.
Agritel stands as a visionary example of how architecture can evolve to meet the demands of urban agriculture and sustainable living, offering a blueprint for future developments in the field.
